The Growth Project: Whakaahu Whakamua empowers Māori in the midst of their journeys in the workplace and progressing into leadership positions. Our business partners are committed to the sustainability of their organisations by creating a culture of belonging and development to ensure all young professionals thrive to their potential.

To be eligible for the programme you must:

Be studying/have recently completed (up to 24 months) a tertiary qualification

Have great communication skills - both verbal and written

Be eligible to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand

What’s next? A pivotal question for every high school student! Our vibrant team walks alongside students to navigate decision making about career pathways at the end of high school. Gaining crucial hands-on experience in the world of work and professional development, students can confidently pursue their passions after high school.

Ideal students for the Student360 programme must:

Currently, be in year 12 or 13 in Aotearoa New Zealand

Be passionate about exploring new and exciting career pathways to help them become confident decision-makers after high school

Be interested in taking part in work experience during the school holidays

A holistic opportunity enabling Year 12 and Year 13 students to dive into the world of work, explore their passions and gain first-hand work experience.

Ideal candidates for Phoenix Generation programme must:

Identify with Asian, Middle Eastern, African, Latin American, or European migrant and refugee communities up to 1st generation. 

A great attitude, motivation, and a true passion for their professional growth. 

Hold or be working towards a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or PhD from a local or overseas university. 

Be eligible to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Ideal candidates for Niu Pathways programme must:

Be studying in tertiary or have recently completed a tertiary qualification (up to 24 months)

Be enthusiastic about their professional growth and keen to explore different career opportunities
